Joe: A couple of weeks ago.
Demi: So you were going to ask no matter what happens.

Demi: This ring is gorgeous Joseph, I love it...and I love you even more.
Joe: Nick helped out.

Joe: He picked it out with me.
Demi: You mean he knows, and he helped you? Wow. I'm speechless.

Demi: I guess we should tell Mom first, then the others. Is Nick the only one that knows?
Joe: Nope. I just told Miley while you were in surgery.
Demi: Oh, kay.
*someone knocks on the door*

DM: It's me!
Demi: Perfect timing, I guess? *tucks her hand under the blanket.*I'm nervous.
Joe: Don't worry. Come in Miss Lovato!
DM: Hello you two. How are you feeling baby girl?
Demi: Perfect, outside not so much but inside...amazing.
DM: *smiles*What are you two staring at...?
Demi: We have to talk.
DM: *looks at Joe*
Demi: Not not me plus you talk, me and Joe plus you talk.
DM: Oh, sorry.
Joe: It's not a problem.
DM: So what is it...?
Demi: Well, you know me, right Ma? You know i'd never do anything that I don't think is the right thing?
DM: Beside that 9th grade track record.

Demi: Joseph and I...we're...getting married.
DM: WHAT? DEMETRIA DEVONNE LOVATO, YOU ARE 17 YEARS OLD!
Demi: 18 in 7 months.
DM: Then you're closer to 16 then 18!

DM: Why are you doing this? Are you pregnant?

DM: Can't it wait until after you go to college.
Demi: Mom, i'm not even in school right now. And if Joe gets into UF then we'll live in Gainesville. It's only a couple of hours away.
DM: If I say yes to this am I going to regret it?
Demi: Never.
DM: And Joe, will you ever hurt my baby girl?
Joe: Never.
DM: You both need to understand i'm only saying yes to this--

DM: BECAUSE I know you two love each other, and I have faith in you both. But if you mess this up, you're coming right home Demi.

DM: And you have to spend the holidays with me.
Demi: Ur....Joe's parents already shotgunned.
DM: *sighs*Christmas?
