My husband converted. This was before I married him. Yet he never sticks to law. he always watches porn on saturdays and says he is "praying"

Thats not true, there is no difference between an orthodox converted Jew and one born of a Jewish mother in any stream of Judaism.
Moses' wife was born a non-Jew....and she married the father of our nation.
There is no racial/ethnic component to Judaism even thought it seems like there is in the US bc so much of the makeup here is central/eastern European askenazim so they share traits commonly.
Youre fine.

I think she is David's grandmother. Are there any other conversion stories? Ruth is the only one I can think of.

Rabbi Akiva - who the foremost sage of the Talmud either converted himself or was the son of converts.
Satmer Chassidim come from converts as well.
Also, there is a book called The Kuzri. A king invites a rabbi, priest, and a Muslim cleric to debate religion. The Jew proves his the most authentic and the king and his entire kingdom (in effect) convert.
Converts have a very special role in Judaism. We are commanded to love them more and never to remind them of their past.

Ruth is a great example of the greatness that can come from converts and their amazing stories. In my opinion, converts have the highest level souls because they have to go through the most to get to the truth.
