@dragonmaster613 Exactly what I think, the ACLU is just an organisation that defends the civil liberties of all citizens in the constitution. They have defended all sorts of clients (i.e both government sponsored religion and the rights of religious groups to exist) which proves your point..

The idea of Christmas is now santa clause and christmas trees
What Christmas should embody is jesus and the birth of christ, to protect a christmas tree only involves a non-religious item. The ACLU does not fight for religious bodies at all, only tries to impose themselves when they step out of line.

The aclu does not support individual causes they support principles. They supported privacy when the govt wanted Rush Limbaughs medical records not because they think the bloated drug addled gas bag is someone they like but that the principle of privacy is important for us all.
