What? First of all these commercials are played on quite a few channels, such as the discovery channel etc. Second of all there is no humor in these commercials, they are genuinely meant to be serious, which is what makes them so bad.

Trying to be "hip" and "witty" is something every company is doing right now. Have you read Burger King's "engaging" napkins & disposable cups? Have you read McDonald's cups saying "Don't think of it as a straw, think of it as a tube that will bring you instant access to this icecold drink" ? "Don't be so mayo" and "we will not tone it down" aren't dead serious slogans. Have you seen MircaleWhip's facebook page? They claim they want to "zing the interwebs." Nobody says that seriously

And I'm serious about Colbert's fans not being able to take a joke unless he's the one that delivers them. I say this because my friends are big fans of his and repeat his jokes all the time and try to pass it off as their own ideas within the context of serious political discussions. Miracle Whip's facebook page is getting a lot of crybaby comments from Colbert fans, too.

Mircale whip is so cool. It gets me into all the best parties...
