@tshkwmt Yep.. it's a confusing workflow for a first time user. If you're looking for 24p video, I won't recommend HF11 or HFS21, get a Canon DSLR, they do a really good 24p with really great DOF (subject is in focus and background is blurred), and you can have a lot of lens selection depending on your budget. But you'll have to do manual focus, if it's bother you.

@tshkwmt HF11 only have PF24 frame rate mode, which is not really a true 24 "p"-rogressive frame per second, it's hidden inside a 60 "i"-nterlaced frame per second. So a proper work-flow must be done first, to process to PF24 video into a real 24p. The video I uploaded here has been processed into 24p.

Kevin Kern - The Enchanted Garden
- Canon HF11
- 1920 x 1080 FXP Quality (17 Mbps)
- PF24 Cinematic Mode
- All Scene Manual Focus
Doesn't cinematic mode mean 24P? Yet you have it at 17P

@syn3rgetic 17Mbps is the bitrate, PF24 is the frame rate (fps), Cine mode on Canon is one of auto preset setting (Program, Tv, Av, Cine, Sports, Sunset, Firework, etc) ^_^

Congratulations for your work. Do you use any macro lens to make chess and balls scenne? What distance do you was?
andrefazanaro 2 years ago
Thanks. I don't have macro lens, only UV lens =) Mostly I use tele (optical zoom) and manual focus to get the focus right. For the pool balls maybe it's around 10-15cm (wide), and for the chess I zoomed a bit since the chess is inside a glass box.
