1945 - Massaker in der Tschechei / Prerau (Schwedenschanze).flv

Beim Massaker von Prerau am 18./19. Juni 1945 im mährischen Prerau wurden alle 265 Insassen eines Zuges - Karpaten Deutsche Flüchtlinge - am dortigen Bahnhof von tschechoslowakischen Soldaten ermordet.

Neben den 71 Männern und 120 Frauen fielen 74 Kinder diesem Verbrechen zum Opfer.

Das jüngste Opfer war ein erst acht Monate alter Säugling,
das älteste Opfer war ein 80 Jahre alter Mann.

Anschließend plünderten die Soldaten die noch im Zug befindlichen
Wertgegenstände der Heimkehrer vollständig.

Eine juristische Aufarbeitung der Tat hat bis heute nicht stattgefunden, die Mörder wurden nie verurteilt. Bis heute legalisiert in Tschechien das Amnestiegesetz Nr. 115 vom 8. Mai 1946 faktisch alle bis zum 28. Oktober 1945 in der Tschechoslowakei an Deutschen begangenen Verbrechen.

Like the Germany was (is) not willing to give independence to its borderland inhabited by Lusatian Serbs, nor did the Czechs were (are) not willing to give up its border just because the Germans living there wanted to secede.
