Lovely! The tempo is "con moto" but not hurried. Very nicely shaped lines from both the soloist and the choir, and I was surprised how well the balance between choir and orchestra worked out. One odd thing: I thought this Mass was scored for strings and organ only, so I'm a bit puzzled where the woodwind parts came from. Perhaps an enhanced orchestration was published at some point; same thing happened with Haydn's "Lord Nelson" Mass (originally just trumpets, timpani, organ and strings).
