Looks like the BBC had a script to follow and a timeline to respect but somehow may have aired their report an hour earlier than they were planning to due to an error in time zone conversions. Some computers and machines don't take into account summer time day light saving (+1h from end of march to end of October in England). In order words they thought they were reporting 30min after the facts, so as to make sure they weren't reporting the collapse before or while it happens. Big blunder!
