Here's an other example of the magnificent instruments I got to play while visiting the USA during my 2008 summer holiday. The organ-as it is said in the title-is located in St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, I do not remember the brand or the exact number of ranks, but I know that it is a relatively new instrument. Too bad that the acoustics inside do not match the grandeur of this wonderful organ...
The hymn featured in the video is well-known; the version I played is taken from the Hungarian Baptist Hymnal, with a bit of a 'personal touch'. Hope you enjoy it!

  • Hey, you'r doing good

  • @pulp7theman Thank you for your kind words! :) This recording was done 4 years ago...I recently posted an other version of this hymn recorded on the Austin organ at the Church of Epiphany in Pittsburgh. It is played a bit differently...looking forward to your observations on the new rendition as well! Best wishes!

  • For the record, it is "St. Stephen's"

It's a nice instrument, but, I wouldn't call it Magnificent

  • @voiceofvictory88 Thank you for your observations! I wasn't aware that I spelled the name wrong! As far as the organ is concerned....coming from a country where most organs have less than 20 ranks of pipes, this organ was indeed magnificent for me....but that is just a personal opinion. Best wishes!

  • Excellent performance of one of my favorites - Sounded beautiful - thanks for sharing - Lance † ♫

  • Thanks for your kind words! As one of my dear friends said, those of us who got the gift of music have the duty to pass it on and share it with others...therefore, sharing it was simply doing my job. :P Best wishes! Agoston.
