  • Yeah, I know Gelsey Kirkland was one of Misha´s best partners in the 70´s but still...I dunno, maybe it´s the old and mythical russian school, so precise yet so passionate!

  • Baryshnikov and Makarova! You can´t possibly ask for more from ballet really. I´d kill if I could have seen them together live once, just once. Life is unfair...

  • Beautiful dancing!! I watched part one as well as this one, but I can't work out what's happening??

  • in a dance recital once they used this music for a ballet dance and it was really good, the part starting at 50 seconds and going to 3:50, that was 2006

  • Love the dancers but I´m not so sure about the musicians. I get the feeling they don´t go at the same pace. It´s like ... what should be "pom pom pom pom pom pom" ends up being "prom prom prom prom prom prom" (Sorry, my English in the music department sucks) Could "overlapping" be the term I´m looking for? It´s like they´re supposed to "land" together on their notes, "land" at the same moment, and they end up "landing" one after the other.

Or maybe it´s supposed to be that way(?) <: d

  • @anniemihn I agree, the perfect pair: Makarova and Baryshnikov! Exquisite.

  • @raulishnikov lynn seymour would look as daniil mom at his age also, joke apart he is a fantastic dancer ,but his eternal baby face is going to became a problem,he is the stronger dancer in ABT at the moment ,why is not principal?he really needs a more commanding presence.

  • Quite lovely. ^_^
