Funny you have nothing to say about companies hiring anti-labor consultants to monitor employees body language in one on one interviews. You have nothing to say about anti-labor captive audiences and the fact that the results of a "secret ballot" election are often predicted very accurately by a company and the union-busting firm that they hire.

Just do a youtube search for- secret ballot name only. The union-busting industry is like a mafia or a street gang shaking people down.

  • The is no free choice in card check. Unions are run with mafia-like tactics.

  • When you vote in an election the curtain behind you is their for a reason! Employee free choice is an oxymoron.

  • How can you feel secure if you know that Andy Stern and SEIU mutants are around the corner waiting to bust up your union and force your worker in to a trusteeship?

    Ask NUHW!

    (National United Healthcare Workers)

  • Joe for the people.

  • Hey Ilovemycat- how much a CEO makes has very little to do with the company staying afloat. Most public companies pay their C level very high, even millions but they are not bankrupt. Toyota is not going under, neither is Honda. GM is- Ford is having a hard time- Chryslre is done- ALL UNION shops. Wake up-

  • I work for King Soopers...a subsidary of Kroger...Kroger is by no means a "little company" (it ranks fourth in profits in the grocery/retail industry.) As far as the automakers are concerned, there are numerous reasons for their problems...yes the controversial "jobs banks" is part of it but so is the millions of dollars those companies' CEOs make.

  • Right- you'll be sooo happy when this country turns into another France. Tell me this- if the EFCA is so fair- why do they want a public vote to certify and a private to decertify? Unions do not work- look at the Big 3 Auto, all poster children for unions and they are sucking wind while non-union competition are cleaning up. The VP only cares about power- not about your little company.

  • As a member of UFCW Local 7 here in Colorado, I am ecstatic we finally have a labor- and worker-friendly Administration in DC!

  • I'm glad we will have a Vice President who gives a damn about average people. A VP who isn't in the pocket of multi-billion dollar unionbusters, what a concept!
