I have many Haitian friends in whom I love dearly and I just want to say that without even ever stepping on the pearl of the Atlantic that this man was pure evil. I am a "white man" but lets not fight over color of skin. We should not generalize people....were suppose to love and support one another. Keep fighting the good fight even when no one is watching... This is the test of a mans true character.

@CherokeeCharli Just think a little bit before writing... Take a well-built house, start destroying the base and leave it. It won't fall on you, but on anyone who gets into that house that you started to destroy. What would you say though? Haiti was a more prosperous country under Duvalier and Baby Doc, than she is today. It seems as if Haiti has fell back almost 60 years. Strong leaders are needed for survivial. I do not believe in murdering people, but strong leaders are needed.

listen! first and for most, you can't even speak with respect! Secondly, my father grew up in haiti under the regime! Duvalier was unethical, ordered thousands to be executed if they did not comply! You can argue all day and be uncivilized with your lack of communication, but facts are there! My last visit in the country back in 1989 was just after a hurricane hit our island! Duvalier was not looking out for the poor but rather the Elite!

The tourists did not live there under dictatorship, the citizens of the country had to endure horrific compliance of the regime that was in place. Haitians have been at the mercy of political individuals who were only seeking personal gains through power! The facts are all there to back it up!
