  • Can somebody please tell me how Mike did that pitch wheel bending sound @0:25?

  • @amg123191 It wasnt a pitch bend it was the way he hit the notes.if you look closely you can see it.

  • @musicman13cj but you see how he was flicking with the tremelo switch?

  • @amg123191 Look closely his hand is resting over it but he ait really doing nothing with it. Its all in presentation. But its really his fingering.

  • I wonder if i get a suit like that if i can get get his skills lol #suitisfly

  • @misterriddlez you and me both doc. You and me both lol

  • @musicman13cj his playing. I don't think anyone churches like him. comes from the inside. I just enjoy watching this guy play.

  • The only thing of uncertainty to me is how much Mike is or is not bringing the bass pedals into play. As far as the rest is concerned he definitely is showing that he's the boss master of that B-3 or C-3.

  • @praiseleaderATL . But ah yeah, show off on the celly..

That's the showmanship that goes way back to ol' school jazz organists who had to do something competitive to show their mastery of the Hammond Organ. In the old days while the organ was cooking at fever pitch the bartender would holler "Hey! You got a phone call!". He'd get down from the bandstand and give the drummer a solo, after five minutes or so, he'd get back on at the same heated tempo and close it out. Showmanship, baby!

  • @amg123191

It was done by the slowing down of the leslie....When it slows down it sounds similar to a lead sythesized instrument.

  • @jmack04 IKR..LOL

  • @jamacia1luv lol I was just looking at this and about to post the same thing. That man know he bad. Whew I wanna borrow them hands. lol

  • @musicman13cj You all are both right. It is the way he hits his keys. But have you ever turned your switch to fast and let it get about half way in between speeds and then switched it back. Its kinda hard to explain what it sounds like, better yet just keep listening to it lol

  • My Lawd Mike is killin it!!! I love this song!
