One of the most melodic renditions I have ever heard! Great playing...If I continue to practice, perhaps someday I can sound like that!

King trumpet?Thanks..
Nice playing ..

Actually, nice tone, good partials and intonations.
Now, take this in front of 1000 people up an octave and you will get the real life sensation of playing where most cannot!
All the best!

@dedios03 Back in high school, a pro trumpeter was my tutor , and had me start my practice with the long legato tonguing , playing with a full breath until air runs out, rest and relax as long as you played, repeat, but increasing the up and down note intervals by half a tone each breath.
Sometimes , it's the more boring, labor-intensive, and non-musical repetitive exercises that give us the most marked results. Even when I was a very good player, I'd always start the day with this exercise.

@dedios03 Legato tongued long tones.
Deep but relaxed breath,
play F first space on the staff, "da-da-da-da", then E, F#, D#, G, D,G#,C#,A,C, continue the interval progression both up and down. Rest as long as you play. Take another deep breath, then play the pattern again.
Open your mouth cavity while playing this legato pattern, i.e., keep the back and middle of the tongue out of the way of the airstream, and don't scrunch up the throat while playing.
Tone will become smooth in due time.

Nice job man, interpretation and ton is everything and you have them in abundance. keep play and keep inspiring.
Hello All,
Great Playing leather, nice tones like the echo, I noticed you pulled your slide ,what effect does that have? I am an aspiring trumpet player.
Check out Adam Palcewski (Exodus nice smooth jazz tones, great video, chris bottie rick braun feel. dolphinman8

Thanks for the kind words. Are you referring to the third valve slide? If so, "kicking" it out on the D puts it more in tune. The low D on the trumpet is normally on the sharp side.
