Southern California Fire Officials Warn of Dangerous Fire Season

Officials from fire departments throughout Southern California gathered in Diamond Bar on Wednesday, May 27 to warn residents of two potentially life-threatening situations: A dangerous fire season and budget cuts that reduce the number of firefighters who can respond to an emergency. Officials are pushing a new campaign, "Ready, Set, Go," that urges residents to clear brush and be ready for fire season, be prepared if they need to evacuate, then go at the first hint of danger.
