Kayak Fishing Mahi Mahi Pt II

Kayak fishing with braddah Ike, Kalai, and Craig, good friends and former Molokai Hoe crewmates from Hui Lanakila from about a decade ago. I took the filets from this fish to Molokai and added some coconut milk, curry, and basil and threw it on the grill. Money. Pre race food for the Molokai to Oahu OC-1 relay. Many years ago braddah Ike and I first did the OC-1 relay together having only about a handful of times on the OC-1 between us, goood fun! Since then, Ike, Craig, and Kalai and some of their other friends have created Hawaii's premier kayak fishing organization, The Aquahunters. Every time I come back home for an event, whether it's an outrigger race, canoe surfing competition, or sailing canoe race, my fishing time with Ike and friends make the competitions the icing on the cake.
