Previously- Joe and Demi went to the mall to get new clothes for their trip to Disney in Florida. Demi is having Selena and Joe come over for dinner because her grandparents are coming in and Demi doesnt want to face them alone.

*Demi opens her front door laughing hysterically with Joe and making a lot of noise. They are still cracking up when they walk into the living room. Demi sees her mom, dad, and grandparents sitting on the couch staring at her.*

Grandma- you always have to make an entrance, dont you Demetria?
D- (stops smiling) oh grandmother, you always seem to have the right words to say
Grandma- I see youre still as snotty as ever.
D- and I see youre still as stuck up as ever. (crosses her arms)
Grandma- Jennifer, I cant believe you tolerate your daughter to talk to me like this. She should respect her elders.
Jen- Demi, please stop.
Grandma- She didnt even have the manners to introduce her little friend to us.
Jen- Thats Joe Montez or Jonas, whichever one you prefer, hes Demis boyfriend. Joe, this is my mother, Miranda Donohue and my father Seamus Donohue.
J- nice to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Donohue
Grandma- at least this boy has manners, although his hair is in drastic need of a cut. How do you see?
J- with my eyes?
D- (starts hysterically laughing as does her father)
J- (confused) what?
Grandma- how rude!

*Just then Selena opens the front door and shuts it and walks in. She doesnt see anybody.*

S- (yells) Demi? Jen? Where are you?
D- hey Sel! We are in here!
Grandma- oh great, more rude children.
D- oh, you will love this one then.
S- (walks in) hey guys! Hi, Im Selena Montez, Demis best friend. (to Demis grandparents)
Grandpa- nice to meet you Selena.
Grandma- youre related to that child over there? (pointing to Joe)
S- (offended by Demis grandmothers treatment of Joe) that child over there happens to be my twin
Grandma- of course he is.
Jen- ok enough! Im going to make dinner! Everyone cool off!
Grandpa- Ryan, want to show me the house you got here? It looks impressive.
Ryan- sure thing Seamus. (they both walk out)
Grandma- Im going to unpack and lie down since I can tell this is going to be stressful. (leaves)
S- whoa, thats your grandmother?
D- unfortunately. My grandfather is great though! I love him! Hes the nicest and shes the nastiest!
Jen- Demetria Lovato, kitchen now! (walks out and Demi glares at her)
D- shes kidding right?
Jen- (from kitchen) DEMETRIA!
D- omg! (leaves)
S- how nasty was that lady to you?
J- I can handle myself SelenaI just wasnt going to sink to her level, thats why I didnt say anything.
S- no, youre trying to impress them so that they like you since you are dating Demi.
J- that too
S- she insulted you!
J- I know, but people have done it before. Not everybody has to like me.
S- stop being a saint! I know you Joseph! Were twins! You fight back when people say things to you or about you. So stop trying to impress because she doesnt care whether youre the best guy in the world or the worst, she hates you already.
J- I just dont want her as an enemy, plus she scares me a little bit.
S- omg! Get a backbone! Do I have to do everything for this family?
J- well youre so good at it (smirks)
S- (glares) cute
J- lets just behave for Demi and Jen tonight, they are both stressed.
S- I agree. Jen especially, shes yelling at Demi, which is so not her.
J- yeah, I feel bad. Lets not make it any harder for them.
S- for once youre right and have a smart idea.
J- thank you
S- I wonder whats going on with Demi
