Funny people are complaining quals are not broadcast live on TV...here in Germany we get ZERO coverage of Indycar, no quals, no races, no highlights, no nothing. It only gets a few seconds airtime when somebody dies in a crash.. :-(( If Indycar were really interested in their fans - especially also those outside the US - they'd offer a legal stream option, many people would pay for it rather than having to try and find illegal streams to at least get to see something.

Well that's where the IZOD official's need to get creative. They need to be literally standing there at the door of these track owners the second NASCAR's contracts expire on them. Once IZOD fully implements custom chassis designs options for the teams and we start to see more engine manufacturers return to IZOD popularity will pick up. The hard part was getting people to accept the DW-12 chassis and new turbocharged engines. They got taken care off so now they can shift their focus.

Um, CART was at it peak when it had courses like Elkhart lake, Phoenix, and Michigan in the rotation. You can't expect thing to switch back to the way it was overnight. I live in Wisconsin and Road America is a very popular race track used frequently. One step at a time. Dedicated race fans will go where the sport is.

There are a lot of courses, arenas, and stadiums that are out in the middle of nowhere but dedicated fans will go because they want to see the action.

LOL! Nice analogy. I see what you are saying. It does make for exciting racing though.

They seriously need to consider going back to Michigan next year. I want to see how these cars handle in a track nearly as large as Indianapolis yet is almost flat-out all the way around. In actuality they need to go back to all the old CART race tracks in order to reclaim some of their lost audience. No reason for them not to.

This may be sacrelige, but these small bankedovals (1 mile or less) are just to small for the high speed of Indy Car racing. As an Inday Car fan, this is meant as constructive criticism. The cars look like they are racing around the inside of toilet bowl!

You are right. Crappy Sky Germany shows endless re-runs of months old football games instead of other sports live. You could only subscribe to BSkyB. I did it for their Sky Sports F1 channel and I upgraded from that to the complete Sports package for Indycar. It's quite expensive though.

I don't like how in the middle of the season there's a part where it's all ovals all together. After the Indy 500, three more oval races is too much IMO. They should mix ovals and road courses up a bit more.

Yeah, her talent is being wasted right now. I appreciate her loyalty to HVM, but at some point she needs to do what's best for her career.
