I doubt it. Although Cliff was a huge Misfits fan he was also a huge Bach fan. He said Bach was god, so I doubt his liking of the Misfits had anything to do with it.

I think most people who enjoy metal can at the very least appreciate classical and I'd like to think vica versa occurs. Classical is amazing.

@rock4kiss Prehaps Cliff looked into the lyrics from the song last caress by the misfits. "come sweet death, one last caress". Its kind of possible that song led him to Bach's and therefore creating Damage Inc. After all, he was a huge Misfits fan.
