http://blog.dmbcllc.com One of the features the CSharp guys have had for quite a while is Intellisense everywhere. Want to create a private variable? Just start typing private and hit the tab key as soon as the word is highlighted. This, combined with code snippets have made coding in CSharp a bit faster than coding in VB.
What about the VB guys?
Sorry. All the VB guys got was the ability to see methods an properties hanging off of their objects. They have had to type out the whole word for things like public, private, dim and class.
Until now. Watch the video to see the new Intellisense for VB 2008 in action.
Is there a way to make your own intellisence for like a text editor thing? I made a Batch file maker in visual basic 2010 and im wondering if when the user types there ms-dos command in the textbox if i can make it so there will be a intellisence. Thanks

true. anyone who thinks intellisense is crap is stupid and shouldn't consider themselves a 'good' programmer. How can typing each letter out be considered 'efficient', and correct me if i am wrong, but efficient programming is what its all about.

Great demo - thanks..

Yes but many of the diehard C++ folk thought the VB folk were babies for enjoying intellisense. Now, it's an expected feature. You can still be smart with intellisense AND even more efficient.
