The Montgomery High School Marching Band performing indoors at the MHS Fall Select Ensembles Concert on November 21, 2011. This camera angle shows the rear stage view (trombone players and some members of the drum line and pit).
The band is shown taking the stage from the wings while the drum line plays a marching cadence. After first playing "The Star Spangled Banner" the band performs their 2011 Field Show: Great Russian Masterpieces.
The field show, usually performed at marching band competitions and during halftime of high school football games, features three movements from Rimsky-Korsakov's "Scheherazade", the "Russian Sailors Dance" from Gliere's 'The Red Poppy', and the ending from Shostakovich's Fifth Symphony.

A front-of-stage camera angle version of this show (shot from the second row of the audience) is available at this YouTube link: youtube.com/watch?v=ruY1MMfKcNc

The Montgomery High School Marching Band is led by Director Adam Warshafsky and Assistant Directors Kawika Kahalehoe and David Rabinowitz. The Color Guard Director is JL Marshall.
