@idioidioteque, I don't know whether you've scene the whole film, but what I love about this film and especially this scene is it's honest, when you watch the whole film it puts it into context. Yes it is brutal but humanity can be brutal, but what this scene represents to me is the mechanization of modern society, how we've all being reduced to a resource like 'chickens'. It's about the loss of humanity which leads to the brutality - a disregard for nature which we are very much a part of.

@Marguerite21 respect takes too much time. do u see how mnay chicks they deal with? too much time slows down production and slow production means less $. no time to kiss every little chickens head and place them gently on the conveyer belt.

@TheProVegan we all need to change and that wont most likely happen, because if you're trying to set the right principles, someone else will come and exploit/take advantage of it, because thats how people are. everyone for themselves. the whole system is fucked, but its the only system that works.

The people who says that and don't changes their food are ridiculous and the cause for those brutal and unnecessary pain.
