@phillipdrummond Yep, and that thing has it so you can connect a midi keyboard up to it and control the sounds in it. Next, it'll get VSTi support, so maybe I'll be able to control other soft synth bundles through the maschine. However, I still want to run Cubase on a PC and gotta figure out the best KB to use. Now that I have the maschine, I think I higher end midi keyboard could be overkill.

@BlackSoultan It seems to work better with Reason and other programs...I use basic functions like playing and automation for knobs on it. I've heard that the akai equivalent is more plug and play friendly...but you have a Maschine, now, right?

@BritneyDigitalLive there should be a feature in the Effects menu under noise reduction like "click/pop eliminator" that I've been using for years and have found very useful. Also be sure to use a pop filter when recording.

I appreciate that tutorial. FL isn't what I use to create but it was still very insightful. Thanks for taking the time to put your thoughts out there.  Lot of us cats out year (seasoned or unseasoned) can get a lot inspiration. I know I did.
