furthmore i was thinking if that 60 watts was on a ufo focused on like a half ounce sized plant rather then  spread out over a big arae like that which should raelly have like 300 watts of led lol....it prob woulda grown must faster.. veg big.. then skimp light to flower and it takes forever

@jnacol leds seem great ..like u get the most weed per watt but the innitial costs of the lamps is just so damn much....,,they have a completley high rate of breaking. compared to an hid... ..im a cfl grower for now.. i would love to jump to leds instead of hps but...i just dont wanna risk 150 on a ufo... cause if it broke ide lose my mind... 150 watt hps with ballast and batwing is like 90 bucks lol.... but yea ide love to try these out.. light..is light

recent upgrades have been found that using a 4 color spectrum with LEDs are optimal. not just red and blue but adding a little orange and white. since most of the set up are using a 2 watt bulb its just a matter of ratio of colored bulbs

LEDs work very well. better than CFLs. problem here is with using only a 60w setup.

you need a good 180-205w setup to equal a 400w HPS. bonus is they are warm to the touch, use only 40% of the electricity, and dont require much ventilation
