In this *very* special couple of shmup videos taken from my own play of the original x68000 computer version of Cho Ren Sha 68k, here is how I blew through all of the bosses of the second (2nd) loop!!! :D

This is Part 2 and the finish of "Cho Ren Sha 68k (x68000 ver.): The Boss Onslaught — Loop 2", where bosses five, six, and seven are all fought and pushed down in the second loop indeed, with some suicide bullets for you to dodge upon the explosions of them bosses indeed!! ;)

On the TRUE final boss though, I actually lost a handful of ships just fighting through that monstrosity, but I *successfully* managed to conquer him, thus finally beating the entire game at last!!! (^-^)v !!

Enjoy the finale of grand destruction festivities of Cho Ren Sha 68k in this part that I have just pieced together for you right here!!! :D !

  • Actually RocMegamanX, I carefully collected 1up icons that took place after every 1,000,000pts. scored in this game. By this time, I collected many of them (according to my score as shown here in this vid, technically! ^-^ ), which explains why I have so many lives indeed!  Yes, it took me plenty of rock-hard practice for me to even get there, you know? ;)

    It sure took me try after EVERY painstaking try to get there, not to mention a whole lot of practice, at that!! Man, now you know why such old-school shmups like Cho Ren Sha 68k are so difficult to beat ( :/ ), let me tell you!!!

  • Nice score, Adigun! Interesting, are those possibly a list of creative influences adorning the high score board??

  • In a way, compewtore, they absolutely are... and what AWESOME influences they are for just two reasons: 1) the names in the Score Ranking screen are actually named after Toaplan arcade shmups that date from 1985 (Tiger Heli) all the way to 1993 (Batsugun); and 2) the background in that Name Entry screen shows off the enemies and their different attacks, which was so *rather* damn hot and such an inspiration to shmup developers everywhere, I truly GOTTA say!!! ^-^=b !
