Made an overdrive pulley for the motor on my belt conversion.
On low I get 3600 RPM max and 6100 RPM max on high.

  • What settings do you find best for milling aluminum using a 2 flute 3/8 carbide end mill?

    I have the Steele belt kit on my HF mini mill and I find the faster the spindle speed the better... The only problem is during plunge milling, I think the stepper isn't powerfully enough to keep it from plunging to far... Know how to fix that? I'm still very new at this.
