The Los Angeles Arboretum in Arcadia, Ca, is beautiful anytime of year. It is a magical place with peacocks running wild as well as wood ducks, mandarin ducks, herons, turtles and Canadian geese. A waterfall and brook flow into a lake where the Baldwin Victorian house used in Fantasy Island stands. It is a popular spot for shooting wedding photos, movies & advertisements.
This 127 acre botanical garden is a wonderful place to visit over & over again. Admission & memberships are reasonable. I visit almost every week & have introduced many friends.
