One of my neighbours works hard to run their own business and spends their spare time helping abused children in care for free. I've never taken drugs as didn't have the spare time or money to get onto them, as too busy working hard to pay my bills, so why should I admire some spoilt person who was stupid enough to get onto drugs in the first place? I was gullible when growing up, to be brainwashed by images in celeb magazines and thought I wasn't thin enough, so she's nothing special.

Wanna bet Nicole is a much better rolemodel than your neighbour? She had a bad life. Alcohol, drugs, anorexia etc. But she ttly changed her life. She has her own line, soon 2 kids, Her own charity foundation. She completely changed her bad life into something good. I call her a rolemodel, and what the hell have your neighbours done?

Well, maybe you have a point in some scummy areas where they have junkies, but my neighbours are all good people and are better role models than these pathetic so called selebs that teenagers are gulible enough to look up to, so the seleb magazine industry can make sales from them.

newspapers and magazines do hardly that. infact, the opposite. but whats wrong with liking celebrities? some kids dont have people to look up to. better a celebrity getting her life on track rather than some junky neighbor.
