Its definitely not a mod. From what I can remember it all starts when you meet the girl in pigeon park doing the tai chi stuff, and then you have to do certain things on certain days. Its totally bizarre.

yessssss i just did it!!! finally got a friggin gold medal after like twenty to thirty goes lol bloody ducks i would of thought eating them would of helped, i dunno wot you do with gold medal though does anybody know? it apparently has a picture of Xiuying Zhao on it, but the secret to winning the actual race is to start off medium pace do not go too fast otherwise your duck will be screwed for the rest of the race, but when you get near to the end jus ram that trigger down as the ducks speed up

I played Shenmue 2 a lot. Apparently not enough, though, I've never seen this before.

I imported this game for the Dreamcast in 2001. Best $60 I've ever spent.

I must've spent a dozen hours just exploring, and even I didn't find this, this just goes to show how hugely epic this game really is.
