I heard that the producer of this movie first filmed this part of the movie in this tea room scene and didnt even think the moviewas going to even be finished because of the budget and said that withnail said they were going to use that tea room room for a fimling location just as a joke and it got used in the movie. Not knowing 20 years later this movie would have such a cult following. This is my all time favorite movie. It sucks that monty died though. Rip richard griffiths
