King of Shaves Flat Out 2 Mile Lake Run

Check out this uncut video of the Venom crew as they run a stock King of Shaves™ R/C Gas boat flat out for 2.5 miles on Lake Coeur d'Alene. The boat goes fully submerged in the beginning of the video and you can here the crew on the boat confirming the chase boat speed at 38mph as the King of Shaves pulls away!

Hi there, where are your High & Low screw settings in relation to the screws being completed closed? I have a KOS boat and it will idle in the water, but stalls once I hit the gas. Any thoughts? Thnx.

@Siris74 high speed needle 1 3/8 - 1 1/2 out. Low speed needle 1 1/8 - 1 1/2. You should be very close if you are in these ranges.

@tommybuddy69 Hey tommybuddy69, the boat goes about 40mph out of the box or perhaps a little faster depending on elevation and engine tuning.

@dan97nichols yes the motor should be broken in but is very easy to do .. just run it easy the first time around.
