Sweet. Yeah, my first claymation wasn't really anything spectacular but it is a place to start. I remember my first clay sculpture....a stick figure basically. Then I started making clay faces, and that is where my style started...
Send me a link when you do post yours!
Hey, I'll tell you one thing, don't get discouraged by the time it takes to make a claymation. I started out taking two months for my first one, because I didn't know what I was doing, but now it only takes two weeks :)

well, my initial idea, it worked out and everything. but with it bieng my first claymation, it was a bit sloppy and my clay making skill arent top notch. but given the fact it was my first attempt. it worked out pretty well, im going to try and upload it soon, if not, im just going to make a new one and try and improve it. either way, im going to get one up soon! :)
and your advise for smoothing out those cracks worked! cheers =)
So you don't use wires in your characters?

@PinkCarnationProDux I'm rather terrible at it, so I don't most of the time. Rarely.

You're talking about Van Aken plastaline and where to get it right? I don't really get your question. If it is about the clay, they I can't really give you a link, because Michael's doesn't sell it online. Just do a google search.

You can get it at any art or hobby shop. I get my Van Aken Plastaline at Michael's.
