Just a quick one this time. Not intending to bore you for any more than about 1 minute 20 seconds.
Just got a new amp and i'm pretty stoked!
Vox AC30 CC 2x12.
I didn't intend to buy a Vox but once I plugged in I knew it was the one. I tried both Marshalls and Fenders in the shop but while these are both super amps I felt the AC30 had the edge for pure vintage tone. I hawked the Fender Blues that I had in the other recordings as I have just started jamming with some guys and the Blues Junior just wasn't up to loud volumes.
I roadtested the AC30 with a Les Paul and Strat in the shop and it sounded fantastic with both. I hope to get a Les Paul soon.
Thanks for watching!!!

  • Playing was a bit too staccato at places, but your playing was very clean and tight. Well done.

  • SRV style is great..

  • Sweet playing and groove man.

  • @shendpage Happened to see your question, "What do you think about Vox Amp???". I'm a player and have checked out the Vox AC-30 and other smaller Voxes. Personally, they just aren't appealing. I get the feeling that they are still popular only because Clapton used Vox in the early part of his career and, of course, The Beatles used Vox in the early days. However, it's all a question of taste. I like Fenders for their sound but I also like their fifties look. They're just cool.

  • @aituaitz

Amp was cranked here, no problem getting a good tone the main problem is it is built in a sweatbox in China by an underpaid 9 year old girl and the main components fell out of a Fisher Price radio from the 70's.

Broke three times in first 3 months, complete and utter piece of shit.

My amp repair guy laughed when he took it apart. Manufacturing in this day and age has gone to shit, everything is disposable even your TV. I now use a 1967 Fender Pro Reverb. In a word a TANK.

    Thank you.

  • @chooseyourblues you seem to be not very happy with that amp if you want a good tone you've got to crank it

  • @chooseyourblues which one?

  • Wow thats awesome! Is that a MIA strat? Or MIM?

  • do you still have the vox?
