I remember I got Rhino the day the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded. It was my birthday and I got it as a gift. Strange how memories link totally unrelated things.

@808jspekeg6 That's funny because I also watch Robotech, Macross (I like them both equally) and DYRL. Everything else just seems too silly or childish whereas Robotech is still a good show as an adult.

@brscth Yup, that's how I felt after re-watching Transformers G1 series. The only 80s cartoon (anime) that I think still kicks ass to watch, even as an adult is Super Dimension Fortress Macross (ROBOTECH) and Macross: Do You Remember Love?

@tintinex Joyce and the wheeled warriors. They have it on Netflix, it was not quite as good as I remembered it. It is best to remember how good it was than to watch it now and realize how simple minded we were as children.
