Parrotlet: Yoda Mimics Scrolling Mouse Sound

Our parrotlet is clearly a technologically current bird; she spends a lot of time with us when we're on the Internet. As evidenced by her mimicking the sound of our mouse scrolling. We're teaching her to speak, but this is the first identifiable sound that she's made. I have no idea what the wing flutter thing is she does with each "scroll" sound she makes. For emphasis, maybe? hehe

i dont think thats a mimic, i had a budgy that did that all the time and its never seen a mouse

This is awesome! I'm going to get one of those little stands for my parrotlet. She usually just sits on the table while I'm typing, but she's started to mimic the keyboard sound haha.

that is actually a mating call that he's doing my jose does that followed by a wiggle of the neck but they do sound similar my birds never been by a mouse though

ahaha, my parrotlet Squeaky makes this sound too!

Though his version sounds more like a little raspberry :P

I think he learned it on his own; I never taught it to him and he does it when he's confused or ticked off XD
