  • False argument. The bill is NOT against giving credit but against oversized profiteering from poor people.

Banks are NOT restricted in lending, they are restricted (A little bit) in getting predatory profits from it.

The argument made is extremely cynical:

" If I cannot charge my customers with crazy shyster interest fees, then I won't lend money at all."

What kind of a whimpy boohooing argument is that?

Oh wait, its the argument from someone who's gonna profit from predatory creditcards!!

  • When I use a credit card, I pay it off-fast. So for years and years I never had to pay a dime in interest rates yet enjoyed all the benefits of having a credit card. Now if these credit cards charge me an annual fee-I have a quick cure for that. I'll STOP using them! Period.

  • No one has forced us to use credit cards. If you use a credit card, pay off the balance each month. Otherwise don't complain if the credit card companies charge you high interest. I read that the card companies may start charging an annual fee and dropping incentives. If so, I will stop using my credit card.
