I always thought this song sounded really restrained up until the "When the ocean met the sky" part.

I'm officially putting a stop to any and all "You're not a TRUE fan if/unless..." comments from here on in... If someone enjoys music you do as well, even if it IS just one song, why can't you just appreciate the damn common ground you have, instead of this chest-puffing one-upsmanship designed simply to make a bunch of anonymous assbags (myself included as an assbag) think you're "better" or "more of a fan" than anyone else? Why the BLOODY HELL can't you just be glad the music's appreciated?!

I love this song. I first heard it shortly after my younger sister committed suicide. It really reminds me of her and the life she wasted. It is sad, but the rest of us left behind still can go on and not waste what is left of our lives.

@sodramatic5 yeah thats what i thought too when i first started looking into them, i thought float on made them, but if you really think about it, it doesnt have that good of flow of transitions compared to a less popular "custom concern" back of their long road with nothing to think about

@SuperMrEnjoi the way i look at it is, Float on is basically their anthem. its what really represents the band, despite the fact that it is their most popular song id say,it's still awesome nonetheless.
