If you look through my music library, my NIN albums stick out amongst classic rock, classical music, and folk. I first heard this in 97' when I was in high school and it really helped to release a lot pent of frustration just listening to it. "I'd rather die than give you control" fit my life at that point. Good grades, ballerina, piano lessons, trying to be miss perfect all the time. This kind of music was a refuge for me. I think it helped keep me out of a really dark place! Thanks Trent:)
