@anonUK because its fucking hilarious?

I have seen this many times over, and every time it is still so funny. This guy is a genius.

@TheRealDoubleH But in Denmark it's the 31th December not 23th.

This was Phase 1 of the British-led NATO exercise "Operation Give the Germans a Sense of Humour".
Yet they keep on watching it year after year- and other Europeans followed their lead. Why?
-
@LeiaAlexis completely agree
-
In Denmark its the other version

@Jongo71 The Economist (Jan 2012) said this is something Germans watch but is forgotten in the UK. So I searched and watched here. It seems ordinary, unremarkable humour. But that makes it more fascinating that it has so many German and Nordic fans. Do they enjoy the British stereotypical mistress-servant culture? Would it be funny if they re-did the sketch in their own culture in their languages?

@McFlyLover92 lol well thats fair enough :) I was bought up watching all the old British comedys like Only Fools and Horses, Some Mothers Do ave 'em and Man about the House etc so I think theyre awesome! :) This for me is abit repetitive (the tripping over the Tiger bored me after the 2nd time he tripped) if that makes sense but for many people they find it funny :)
-
@LeiaAlexis yeah, but I guess since I grew up watching this, I must've laughed everytime he tripped or something (kid humor) and when he gets more drunk, I still think is hilarious.. lol
@cyb3rf3nix Hey! I think most teenagers in Norway watch this every year, 23th December. At least most i know.
