3 x 3 x 3 Advanced Addition Shortcut: learn a shortcut way how to add 3 rows of 3-digit numbers without regrouping.

Method: work horizontally and add each place value column separately, starting with the hundreds column; then, add the 3 columns together to get your final answer.

  • Wow cool thanks!

  • @FlashWhiteSnoW An alternate ways to add a multiple set of large numbers is to add the numbers in each column in sets that equal 10 & add remaining numbers.

    22 32 (Carried numbers)

    52,368

    45,642

    19,563

    80,787 6,164

    ------

    204,524

    In the ones column, 8 + 2, 7 + 3 both equal 10 = 20, add the 4 = 24. Carry the 2. 6 + 4, 8 + 2 both equal 10 = 20. 6 + 6 = 12 + 20 = 32. Carry the three. In the next column, add 7 + 3, 6 + 3 + 1, and then 5 to make 25. Continue to solve.
