Special thanks to Rob Anthony for letting me use his amazing music. Mp3 Available at http://www.robanthonymusic.com , featured song "Down the Road" from the acclaimed "while the world Sleeps" album!

  • I went through all that on 40 going to California right after they opened the roads. The Port of Entry in NM was a joke...bringing trucks through when the scale was iced up and snow packed.

  • @Seminolesfan198423 Yeah i here yah man those fuckers have nothing else better to do. Fucking ass-holes, and even when you have an EZ pass they just decide to bring you in anyways just to cause a headache.. Bastards, Get a real job is what i think about that whole situation!

  • Yeah I hit that storm in Amarillo. It was a nasty storm. US287 into Amarillo all the way from Wichita Falls was just an ice skating rink! Almost lost it twice just following the "cleared" part of the road. I was stuck in Amarillo trying to go west when they shut Amarillo down, and then opened it but highly discouraged traveling. I hit another storm on my way back through in Boise City, OK. That one was pretty bad. 2 drivers on 287 ended up colliding almost head on...it was a nasty accident!

  • @Seminolesfan198423 I here yah man, it was an awful mess, shit shouldn't happen like that in NM, The problem is that instead of DOT preparing for it and pre-salting the roads, they just waited for a hundred people to crash. Even when i was pushing through to Tucumcari, i never saw a plow, and i never saw the road. Bull shit if you ask me. maybe they have a quota on how many wrecks they are required to cause.... who knows... lol

  • great video adam! good to see a young buck truck'n on and ridin the storm out the best way he can.alot of em now adays go hybernate at the drop of a flake.

some advice from some1 who has been there many many times.

    1 don't follow too close

2make sure noone is coming up the hammerlane if you wanna pass.

3 travel at your own pace that you feel safe.

experiance is the best teacher my friend. great video and way to GET-R-DONE

  • @crosscountryvideos Thank you bro, very well put , yeah i believe that if you feel safe then drive, if at anytime i didn't feel secure in my decision to keep rolling i would have pulled off. Lol those other drivers that get scared when someones windshield whipper fluid hits there truck are the ones a stay away from..

  • Great song where can I find it..

  • Good video, I enjoy watching. My boyfriend drives and I will finally be able to go with him. He is changing companies so he can take me with. Sounds like Gordon Trucking wants him, so we shall see. Take it easy and be careful. oh and before I forget, THANK YOU for working hard.

  • Great vid, bro. Keep it 'tween the ditches, that is if you can still see them.

  • I would be surprised if the First Choice driver lived through it. The Swift truck was totalled as well. But during the storm you videotaped I watched cars and trucks alike along 287 and I-40 going sliding into the ditch, it was crazy.

  • Yeah my brother lives in Raleigh, North Carolina and even they were pre salting the roads a day in advance for the storm. Youd think that with NM and North TX getting all that ice and snow and knowing theyd get it ahead of time that theyd prepare for it. The accident in Boise City, OK the other day involved a Swift truck but it wasnt his fault this time. A First Choice driver was too light and going to fast and slid into Swift. Swift did the best he could in taking the ditch but still got nailed

  • Good thing those types of guys were sitting in the truck stops and on the exit ramps then! haha!
