I like to google addresses in these old commercials to see if the stores still exist. The boots and jeans stores seems to be gone :(
-
I will confirm the awesomeness of the villainess girl in the Princess of Power commercial.

Michigan couldn't come up with a better one than " U R IT "? I like those 1-620,000 odds too
Seeing evil girls on Saturday morning ads? Preposterous? Almost as far out as PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY POP TARTS
-
The Snorks and Smurfs airs Saturday & Sunday mornings on the Boomerang network.
-
Every time I see the Happy Pals, I keep thinking of Aqua Teen Hunger force :P
-
The reason why Snorks NBC bumpers are so rare is pretty simple: In 1985-86, they were on at 7:30 AM in the morning. I know this, because in my phone I actually have a DC comics ad of NBC's 1985 Saturday Morning Lineup uploaded which list the Snorks as on first thing in the morning. BTW, is it okay to fav this?
-
That excitement to wake up early saturday mornings to catch a new episode of your favorite cartoon is now gone thanks to the internet and cartoon network

Among the list of names who voiced The Snorks: Nancy Cartwright (who later voiced Bart Simpson) and Jean Vander Pyl, who voiced Wilma Flintstone in the 1960s. Wow. Just wow.

WOAH, Gospel Girl in that "One To Grow On" is kind of a anti-Semite!

PB&J Pop Tarts sounds like it might actually be good. I wonder if they still make those. I haven't bought Pop Tarts in years because they taste like sugary sugar with sugar on top now that I'm an adult...
-
I completely forgot about slush puppy, we had one in our middle school
it was always more water than ice with a squirt of juice but it was awesome
it might have been the way the old guy made them.

My fave Slush Puppy flavor was "Bahama Mama." Mmm, sugar rush...
Who the hell is Thom Bray?

@jmkenned He was on the NBC series "Riptide" when this aired. The "One To Grow On" spots featured NBC personalities, not necessarily well-known or bankable celebrities.
