i too came to this song from the X-Files... i always think of that episode when i hear this. i thought this whole time that it was Mark Snow's composition since you can kinda hear a hint of the X-Files Theme in the strings, for the exception of the last note in the phrase. anyone else hear it?

there is SOMETHING about this song that's so deep and unreal.
Although the X files Episode this was featured in was emotional on ccount of its own storyline, this song just maximize its effect x1000!

The first time I cried to this song was back in 2000. I was drunk in my dorm room at 1 AM after my girlfriend broke up with me. Here I am listening to it 12 years later and the tears are streaming down my cheeks again.
