Santorsola was very demanding. I was a student of Santorsola in Montevideo. We spent a lot of time together listening to music. Santorsola once played a recording of Sergio and Eduardo Abreu made in his house. They sightread a brutally difficult sonata of Santorsola, then recorded it dead perfect on the second reading. Pretty amazing especially given the perfection standards Santorsola wanted. Santorsola had other home recordings of the Abreus all incredible.

What might you mean with "Those two could make music at anytime ,even in the house of Santorsola."
I knew, know Sergio reasonably well, know the Santorsola Concerto - did even correspond with Guido - but find your formulatiion most interesting.
Kind regards

Great to hear to hear this. Hope more Abreu and Abreu duo recordings can be heard. It would even be good to hear the Abreu duo recording of the Sanorsola Concierto. Those two could make music at anytime ,even in the house of Santorsola.
