it was a great product that suffered from wrong policy. microsoft should have ported the lit format to other devices, including android. make its use ubiquitous and necessary instead of limiting it to windows devices. maybe instead of ballmer trying to play catch up and buying other successful ventures out there like skype, etc. microsoft should look at what already they have in their stable, and give it a refresh. the product works but too limited. kindle did it, so why can't u?

Why does my icon have an additional square behind the 'tree" logo of Microsoft Reader? (all my newly installed software have it too. How do you remove the square program symbol behind?
