  • Hi everyone, English gal here. I just want you to know how much I love and admire the Australian people. It's not just because most Australians have British or Irish ancestors like me, it's because you turned a fairly desolate island into one of the most modern and magnificent nations on earth and yet you're not arrogant, unlike some. We love you here in England.

  • I was born and raised in Loas Angeles California in the United States. I grew up believing that America was the best place in the world, the land of hopes and dreams where anything is possible and life is easy. Well, that perception is starting to fade. I have now decided that I am going to go to Australia and if I like it, I will move there.

  • I love Australia so much! It's such a beautiful country and has so many beautiful, wonderful people within it. Honestly one of the most amazing nations. Much love always from Scotland! (: <3

  • As an Australian, it is so important to explore your own country!

  • I'm currently living in Boise, Idaho in the U.S. (born and raised) and attending college, but I've already made plans to study abroad in Canberra in less than two years. I'm definitely looking forward to it and hope that I can move to Australia one day! It's such a beautiful place, and I hear the culture and people are amazing.

  • I loved Oz when I went there. If I get the chnace it's where i want to settle down

  • Amazing.

  • I'm English too and I agree with the comments here. I just wanted to add this extra thing - did you know that Australia comes 3rd in the World Economic Freedom Index ?

(And that's seven places ahead of the USA)

  • @Manaphyish

It's a beautiful place, though this is a biased opinion given I'm Australian, but I don't think you'll regret going if you did, each state has its own image, Queensland is warm and tropical, New South Wales has so much history and Darling Harbour is amazing at night, Victoria (what I've seen of it) is very focused on art, it's quite stunning, why would you be afraid? :)

  • Beautiful country, I would like to go there someday.
