I own one of these. They sound great but when I play songs with them, the volume is substantially lower than when I use any other headphone. Btw, they offer an extreme neutral sound which is perfect if you are into music production. If you just listen to music and you like it loud, do not buy them!

Has anyone tried to replace the cables on these cans? I can't seem to do it. :(

@Kaychubb You might want to never ever try beats by dre because they suck. Sony Extra bass MDR XB series has a way better base, way better everything else, it's built better and costs a fraction of the price of the beats by dre

@leafbob1 you might want to try the beats by dr dre series if you're looking for bass. These headphones are made for monitoring, which means they're made to give a flat sound and not colour the sound in anyway, this is useful for professional use like sound engineering and DJ's. These one's represent the budget type professional application headphones.
