The Kruger Brothers perform their tune, "Beautiful Nothing" which was inspired when they played inside a very old church in Switzerland. They noticed that playing "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" at full speed in there didn't sound as good as the simple, single notes they would play while tuning, so they wrote this tune to celebrate the space "between the notes." This song appears on their new CD of that name, "Between the Notes," which you should go buy right now. This performance is from the 2009 Rockygrass Academy, Lyons, Colorado.

  • Absolutely perfect timing, what artists, can't wait to they get to England in the spring.

  • What an incredibly beautiful piece of music. I was moved when I heard it live recently. It is haunting.

  • I hear a little Pink Floyd in this tune. Great music.

  • The most magnificient piece of soul touching music I have ever heard. Tearfully beautiful!
