I reckon this competition is a magnificent idea. What a great way to conserve a part of Chinese culture and encourage the younger generations to uphold these traditions from ancient times. :)

@GaryPansey There are many religious in China. Communism doesn't necessary reflect atheism, nor does it as a political policy reflect its citizens.

Great video with great dancers! Given the atheistic environment of Communist China, I don't think the competition promotes "religion," just "piety..." Anyone can be in the competition, it's not limited to Falun Gong people.
