A spoof/parody of the Mastercard Priceless commercials featuring Silver Dollar City. DISCLAIMER: All footage was shot & edited by me (an amateur). I am in no way associated with Mastercard nor Herschend Family Entertainment. Just a fan having fun.

UPDATE: Wow. I never thought this video would garner the attention it has. I was quite honored when Conductor Sam linked to this on the SDC blog. I couldn't believe it when I saw it!

And this has been posted in a couple other places, too; I'm flattered that people would do so. I do want to make it clear, however, that I am not an employee of SDC nor Herschend Family Entertainment in general. I'm just a regular person who's been visiting the park for some 14 years, and it's become to me what Disneyland is to other people. I DO have a dream of someday becoming an SDC Citizen, though. I'd love to work there.

  • @lonnie727 well said! One of my favorite times at SDC is during the southern gospel picnic;)...also love the Christmas time there

  • @rjoyhelvie WHen its christian based you cant please everyone.

  • @lonnie727 I apologize for my terse reply. I didn't mean to imply anything about you. I suppose I'm just in a bit of a mood right now because I have many friends who are gay or of other faiths and I want them to be able to enjoy Silver Dollar City just as much as I do. And many of them do. I appreciate that Herschend Co. is Christian-based; it has led to a family-friendly atmosphere that I like. But I believe that "family-friendly" should include all families.

  • @rjoyhelvie Then go to disney world. I am not trying to be rude but if thats what you want then go to somewhere where they show that. But Silver Dollar City was founded by strong Christians andI as a christian appreciate going there and bieng surrounded by that without getting stuff mixed. If Iwant to learn about other cultures then I will go to disney world or to a history book, California, orwatch a documentary. And I am well aware that Christmas is not exact on Jesus' birth I amnot uneducated

  • @lonnie727 I do like how they don't shirk away from the Christian telling of Christmas, but Jesus wasn't really born in December and there is nothing wrong with acknowledging other cultures' ways of celebrating a holiday. I for one would be interested in learning how Muslims celebrate during the winter holidays. I support learning about other cultures and acknowledging our differences *and* our similarities. We should welcome the chance to learn about people who live differently than us.

  • I been going to SDC for my whole life.

  • love the park never dissapoints you

  • @coreybelles I love how at Silver dollar city they arent afraid to tell about the Nativity, etc. Like the christmas train ride when they stop and tell you about jesus. And the Ligting of the tree and Joy to The World. You wont find that at Disney World. You would have to have the muslim version, then the gay and lesbian version. Thats what i love about Silver Dollar City. They tell the true reason for the season

  • @coreybelles you do? What do you do? I just went there maybe I saw you.

  • aww that was great and your promoting the park. thanks cus i work there.
